From Teen Miss Atlanta, to Miss World Universal, this exquisite lady has been a constant shining light of beauty and grace upon the world around her. She is Lateacha Coleman; wife, mother, and survivor of one of the number one killers of women today: Breast cancer. Diagnosed at the young age of 25, a newlywed, with her dreams still ahead of her,she developed a fighting spirit that drove her forward to pursue her dreams and help other women who had gone through the same situation to reach theirs. Lateacha did not allow her circumstances to keep her from competing as she went on to have success in the Georgia East Coast USA pageant being crowned Grand Supreme, the highest title in the whole pageant. Lateacha then realized that her story could be a platform to inspire others to push forward and never give up. She became the founder of Life After Cancer or L.A.C., a nonprofit organization geared towards the support of cancer survivors under the age of 45. Now Lateacha Travels the Country sharing her dream and her story with others to continue to help them aspire for more. Nothing could steer this beauty queen away from the dreams she had, and the life she knew she deserved. But her walk has made her more than just a contestant, it's made her a hero.
Long Live the Dream.
